Butler Boulevard runs straight from the hotel to the ocean, and the rebuilt Jacksonville Beach Pier is a good first stop — a quarter-mile out over the Atlantic for fishing, walking, and views, with shops, restaurants, and the SeaWalk boardwalk right there. About 25 minutes east.
